Forbes presented the rankings or the most expensive production cars in the world. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport has been surpassed by a Swedish model, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, which will be produced in only three copies.
Despite the fact that they were on the verge of buying Saab, people from Koenigsegg failed to obtain the necessary funding for the acquisition, but they succeeded to create Trevita, a special version of CCXR. In Swedish, Trevita means three whites” and the model will be available only in one color – the “white diamond”.
Besides being the most expensive car in the world in 2010, Koenigsegg Trevita is the most expensive car powered by bioethanol. The standard version of Trevita, the Koenigsegg CCXR was the number seven on the list, and CCX got the eighth position in the Forbes ranking of the most expensive cars in the world.
